Tig welder — Mesa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Mesa County, Colorado. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
