Immediate opening: safety officer (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Albemarle County, Virginia. The job is at an oil and gas facility. On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
