Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Walker County, Alabama. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. You will fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
