Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Bronx County, New York. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T You will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
