Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Haywood County, North Carolina. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action.
