Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Marshall County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres The role involves: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Full-time with occasional weekends.
