Incoming goods inspector — Isle of Wight

We are recruiting: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Isle of Wight, England. Your main tasks: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
