Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Grundy County, Illinois. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
