UPVC window fitter — Juneau City and Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
