Vacancy available: vertical transportation technician (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Greater London, England. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
