Crane rigger wanted in Carter County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Carter County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time, day shift.
