Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
