Steel fixing chargehand • Haakon County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Haakon County, South Dakota. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
