PVC profile cutter — Fayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Fayette County, Kentucky. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
