Domestic gas engineer • Perkins County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Perkins County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
