Dish pit attendant — City of Salem

Now hiring: we are hiring a dish pit attendant in City of Salem, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure The role involves: • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
