Tube and fitting scaffolder wanted in Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Carroll County, Virginia. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. Requirements: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
