MIG welder • Yabo, Sokoto State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Yabo, Sokoto State. Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
