Foundry worker • Marion County, West Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Marion County, West Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
