Great opportunity: argon welder (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Solihull, England. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 2+ years on the tools preferred.
