Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Mercer County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Mercer County, Kentucky. You will work in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
