Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
