Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Stone County, Arkansas. The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
