Requirements: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage The role involves feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour.
