Urgent requirement: ladle pourer (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Chatham County, Georgia. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Rotating shifts.
