Vacancy available: thermal insulation technician (Minnesota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Pennington County, Minnesota. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing On a typical shift you will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
