GMAW welder • Borough of Bury, England

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Borough of Bury, England. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
