Gantry crane operator — Mid and East Antrim

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. £130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
