Steel fixer • Greene County, Iowa

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Greene County, Iowa. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
