Vacancy available: steel fixing chargehand (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Saint Martin Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
