Lift mechanic wanted in Scott County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Scott County, Illinois. The job is in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time, day shift.
