Gtaw welder — Kwaya Kusar

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kwaya Kusar, Borno State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦115,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
