Urgent requirement: earthmoving plant operator (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Ottawa County, Michigan. You will work at a stone quarry. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Six days a week, one day off.
