Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Jasper County, Georgia. You will be based at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
