Civil works labourer • Gada, Sokoto State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Gada, Sokoto State. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Day-to-day duties: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
