Heavy equipment operator (dozer) • Lincoln County, Nevada

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Lincoln County, Nevada. You will work at a busy earthworks site. On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
