Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
