We are recruiting: concrete labourer (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Logan County, Kansas. The role involves: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
