Machine operator (earthworks) — Newry Mourne and Down

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. On the job you will handle: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
