Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
