Natural gas fitter — Brown County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Brown County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time, day shift.
