Immediate opening: machine operator (earthworks) (Wisconsin)

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Juneau County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
