Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
