The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
