Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer in Menard County, Illinois. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Day-to-day duties: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
