Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Wokingham, England. You will be based at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
