Now hiring: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Day to day you will inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
