UPVC window fitter — Saint Joseph County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. You should have: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square Part-time with flexible hours.
