Stainless steel welder wanted in Chaves County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Chaves County, New Mexico. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
