QC technician • Taylor County, Wisconsin

Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Taylor County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
